Hawick – Baby Massage Course: From 6th-March-5-weeks-10am
March 6 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am£50.00
WHAT IS IT: A very relaxed and friendly 5 week course which will show you how to massage your baby and help them with relaxation, colic symptoms, reflux, constipation, teething, sleep problems, crying and lots more.
(With quite a few baby psychology tips and facts too!)
Please don’t worry about what happens if your baby cries as it’s truly not a problem…they are babies!
Generally they are all very chilled anyway!
HOW LONG: The classes last for an hour and a bit and are very welcoming and baby led. They are also a great way to take some time out and meet new mums – we have coffee and cake after the massage (which is about 30 mins of the hours class) and you will have time to chat and feed your baby)
HOW MUCH: The 5 week course is £50 and includes a 50ml bottle of organic grapeseed oil, laminated notes, weekly coffee/cake and a certificate! I do have VOUCHERS which can be posted out and are a great new baby present.
All parents will be given a FREE parent and child swimming pass very kindly from ‘LIVE BORDERS’ worth £4.50.
WHAT TO BRING: All you need to bring is a towel and your lovely baby. Its best to wear comfy clothes as we work on the floor.
I have spare massage dolls so don’t worry if your baby is sleeping or not quite themselves you can still learn what to do.
If you have to miss a class then you are welcome to join in with one at a later date, another class the same week in a different town or we can meet before the class where possible.
I trained with The Scottish School of Child and Baby Massage who teach Midwives and Health Visitors throughout Scotland. The techniques you learn will become second nature and you will see the difference for yourself! PLEASE NOTE that booking is essential as places are limited to a maximum of 10 babies.
These classes will relax both you and your baby! If you have any questions about the course then do just give me a call. (Also if you are feeling nervous about joining a group then you are more than welcome to arrive a bit earlier, just let me know and i can leave home sooner!)
I chat quite a bit on the first week explaining all about baby massage and the do’s and dont’s and so if your baby is sleeping when you arrive then do just keep them all snuggled up as we wont be massaging straight away. If you are running late then don’t worry at all but if you could maybe just send me a quick text then that would be fab (its easily done, I remember well!)
We generally massage first in the classes as babies can become overstimulated after about 20 minutes but everything is super laid back and if everyone were to arrive and the babies were all sleeping (which has happened on the odd occasion) then thats not a problem as we can have coffee first!
Take care, love Hils x
P.S If you have the double joy of twins then there would only be a charge for one baby
